He was a part of one of RoH's greatest factions (Generation Next), and has had matches that are still regarded as some of Ring of Honor's greatest. (From James Gibson to Bryan Danielson to Kenta and Marufuji) Despite his talent in the ring, he has never held the RoH World Championship even though he's had *over* 10 attempts but always seems to put on a show.
For my money... He's the best wrestler (in-ring) on the entire roster.
What are your thoughts on Roderick Strong? |

Agreed,
If there is a face of ROH now that Danielson is gone it is Roderick Strong. |

Agreed. Best "in-ring" wrestler in ROH. He's a guy that is so good that I don't care about his promo skills. |

| Yeah, I think that about sums it up...he's been on such a roll this year, in particular. He deserves a world title reign more than anyone else in the company right now. |

right now im sitting watching Roderick vs Aries from Steel City Clash and i'm loving it. In the ring, he's just the total package.
Everyone needs to check out his match against Davey last year at Tokyo Summit. Man...what a war! |

| I personally think Roderick Strong is one of the most talented wrestlers on the ROH roster, his promo skills not so much but I would like to see him with the ROH world championship sometime in 2010. |

Not too familiar with his early stuff, but man has he been on fire in 2009. Hasn't had a bad match all year. Really looking forward to the next few weeks of HDNet specifically to see his matches.
He's my kind of babyface, too. Doesn't need to give intense promos or anything because he does his talking in the ring.
With all that in mind, I gotta say it: A title reign right now would kill him dead. I feel that anyway who gets that belt right now aside from Davey or Hero for some reason would be rejected after a few weeks. That's why its best to pull the plug on Black in Dec and then feed him to the Wolves.
I do see Roddy as champ by the end of 2010, though. |

He's actually Improved his mic skills since Gen Next obviously.
For me, the point where he improved his mic skills was with the No Remorse Corps. He actually cut some good ones and has been doing a bit better each time. He's not the greatest talker in ROH, but give him more promo time and he can pull it off eventually. |
